Bio

I'm a former fashion model, an award-winning visual artist, and a dedicated farmer. My passion extends to the kitchen, where I delight in crafting meals with the fresh produce harvested right from our farm. Connecting with new individuals, exchanging stories, and sharing seeds are some of my greatest joys. My journey also involves travelling with our rice and other dried farm produce, and curating immersive community cooking experiences at art galleries and community centres across the world.

What was your inspiration to get into cooking, food and teaching how to cook?

As I immersed myself in the world of food, flavours, and cultures, I realized the transformative power of cooking – how it brings people together, sparks creativity, and fosters a deep connection with our nourishment.

What excites you the most about your work?

It's the joy of guiding them through the journey of flavors, cultures, and techniques, and seeing their confidence grow as they create something delicious and meaningful. Sharing the knowledge that connects us to our sustenance and traditions brings a deep sense of fulfillment, knowing that I'm fostering a love for food that transcends the plate and nourishes both body and soul.

How do you select the menu for you classes?

The harvest of the day.....

What do you love the most about cooking?

Cooking provides a sense of mindfulness and focus – it's a meditative experience that allows me to be fully present in the moment. Overall, cooking is a source of creativity, connection, and personal fulfilment that brings me immense happiness.
