Anthropology is the study of humans and the way they live. Sociology studies the ways groups of people interact with each other and how their behavior is influenced by social structures, institutions and of course, the foods they eat. Chef Lyn has studied both of these disciplines extensively while at the University of Chiang Mai in Thailand and there she earned degrees in Sociology and Anthropology. There is another educational accomplishment Chef Lyn has that boosts her popularity among Thai food enthusiasts, and it came from her "Mom." Northern Thai Lanna cooking is Chef Lyn's speciality. She was taught Lanna cooking by her Mom when She was young. In Chef Lyn's Lanna cooking class you will make original Lanna recipes using many of the same kind of kitchen tools Northern Thai people used years ago.
