Andy is the main chef at Clay Pot Thai Cooking Mate. He cook for his family since he was 8 years old. Andy came from Buengkarn province - the border close to Laos where his family live.He moved to Bangkok for his bachelor (Southeast Asian Studies) and master degree(MBA). Andy is interested in Street food, eating culture and food culture of SEA region so he expert on Thai food and Vietnames food.

What was your inspiration to get into cooking, food and teaching how to cook?

Clay Pot Thai Cooking Mate was created with the need of sharing Thai Food and Thai culture. Andy found that tourist who travel to Thailand from around the world love Thai food. Now some Thai food restaurant are fusion food, so he decided to run cooking class and share how local, original of Thai food be.

What excites you the most about your work?

Clay Pot Thai Cooking Mate is cooking class that is open for our friends around the world. Things that Andy love the most is sharing Thai food and Thai culture.

What do you love the most about cooking?

Andy enjoys sharing Green papaya salad, (Som Tum) it is one of the menu that Andy love the most. He also enjoys eating that is why he loves cooking. He can eat Som Tum everyday.
