Bio

The team at The Greek Kitchen are all home trained cooks and bakers with years of experience cooking for their families and friends, using recipes that have been handed down over the generations as every good Greek family does.

What was your inspiration to get into cooking, food and teaching how to cook?

We started The Greek Kitchen because of a combined experience of cooking and in working in tourism and a shared love of Greek dishes and produce and wanting to find a way to promote them and share them with Athens' visitors.

What excites you the most about your work?

Sharing amazing moments with our students and the rest of our team.

How do you select the menu for you classes?

We work with seasonal ingredients at The Greek Kitchen so have to change the menu a few times a year to make sure that we are using the freshest ingredients at their peak flavour. We also change and adapt the menu for the wide range of Greek traditions and customs that involve food.

What do you love the most about cooking?

The meal after all the work is done!

Greece can be heavy on meat, dairy and gluten so we are happy to let you know that we do our best to cater for all dietary requirements.
